William Clark Gable who is popularly known as Clark Gable was born on February 1, 1901 in a small town called Cadiz in Ohio. Clark Gable was also known by nicknames such “Gabe” and “The King”. Clark Gable had five marriages. The first two ended in divorce with Josephine Dillon and Ria Langham respectively. The third marriage took place with Carole Lombard but that too was short lived as she died after three years of marriage. Clark Gable married Sylvia Ashley nearly 7 years after the death of his third wife. But that too ended within 3 years of marriage. His last wife survived Clark Gable when he died of a heart attack on November 16, 1960.

Clark Gable’s had a miserly childhood. He was only seven months old when his mother passed away. He quit his school at the age of 16 and began working in a tire factory in Akron, Ohio. Still his tough days were not over. He worked in stock companies, oil fields and sold ties. It was after watching the play The Bird of Paradise that he wanted to be an actor. In the year 1924 Clark Gable was able to reach Hollywood somehow with the help of Josephine Dillon who was a theater manager of Portland, Oregon who also coached him on acting. Josephine Dillon who later on became his first wife who was twelve years senior to him played an important role in helping Clerk Gable enter Hollywood.

Lionel Barrymore the famous actor and the director recommended Gable to MGM’s Irving Thalberg that he be screen tested. After the screening Irving Thalberg was not impressed particularly with his looks. But the studio eventually hired him after several screen tests in 1930. He worked as a co-actor with Joan Crawford in 1931 film Dance, Fools, Dance. Public liked his on screen chemistry with Jean Harlow in Red Dust in 1932 which took to top of the popularity chart. There was a spat between Gable and MGM as refused to do assignment for which he was heavily punished by loaning him out to low rent paying Columbia Pictures. Again his destiny wanted him to be a star, working with Columbia Pictures in Frank Capra’s “It happened One Night” Gabel won an Oscar which was one of the best romantic comedies to be ever produced.

He was called back by MGM with far more intense roles in movies like “Mutiny on the Bounty” in 1935 and “Gone with the Wind” in 1939 for which he was nominated to Oscar for best actor role. Gable left Hollywood for three years after his third wife Carole Lombard died in a plane crash along with her mother. He joined Army Corps and served Europe during World War II. He starred in “Adventure” in 1945, which was highly promoted, as his comeback movie. But the film had a lukewarm response. MGM thought that Gable’s salary is too high and thus did not renew his contract with the studio. He starred in many unnoticeable films there on during 1940′s and 1950′s. During the filing of his last movie “Misfits” in 1961 he announced that he is going to become a father. But to his misfortune he passed away without seeing his son. Clark Gable was laid to rest in the shrine he built for his third wife Carole Lambord and her mother in their memory. He may be gone but to us he remains a legend even to this day and forever.

Coming up with creative party theme ideas gets harder and harder the older you get. When you’re a kid, coming up with creative parties is really easy. Basically, all you have to do is be the first to have a theme party dedicated to a particular show or character that you and your friends like. If your best buddy had a Ninja Turtles party last week, you can have a Mighty Morphing Power Rangers party this week, for example. If your friend had his Yu-Gi-Oh party, have a Pokémon birthday party. Your friends will all be happy with it as long as they are getting candy and goody bags.

People start to come up with the real creative parties once they get to college, however. Most of the really creative party theme ideas for college parties have to do with outlandish costumes that will allow people to show off what they got. Some of them are whimsical, while others are downright bawdy. It doesn’t matter. College kids like all of those parties. They provide people with an excuse to really cut loose while they drink – not that most of these kids need an excuse.

The really challenging thing is coming up with creative party theme ideas for a coworker party. Parties with your coworkers have to strike a delicate balance. On one hand, offices are adult places and your coworkers are likely to have adult tastes. They want to drink, flirt, dance, and have a good time. On the other hand, you want a party that is not too risqué. You don’t want to offend anyone, and you don’t want stories going around the next day. All in all, the more creative your party theme ideas, The more you might have to answer for.

That is why it is always good to take the high road. Have a party dedicated to some cultural phenomenon. Have everyone dress as his or her own hero. Make sure that your party serves as an invitation for everyone to think about their costumes. Make it so that it will be fun for people of all ages.

Alternately, you can stay away from costumes altogether. One of my favorite creative party theme ideas is to have a theater games party. Everyone comes just as they are, has a few drinks, and starts playing various drama games. Theater games are a lot of fun, and they can be played with a few simple props.

In today’s world many of us find the convenience of online shopping to be second to none. This is especially true at certain times of year and with certain items. There are still some items that need to be tried before they are purchased. This however doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy the wide variety of pricing options that are available online if you do not like the price of your favorites in the store. One of these items that must be seen (and heard) in order to have a proper idea of its actual value to you is a home theater system.

You need to visit local stores and compare the products on hand with one another. You need to hear these systems and view these systems in order to determine whether or not you think they will provide the quality you are seeking for your home theater system. Viewing the systems that are sold as part of sets also allows you to have a good idea of what should be included in your average home theater if you decide to purchase the components individually, which I highly recommend, rather than as one complete kit.

The good news is that once you have narrowed down your selections and have a good idea of what local retailers are charging for the same items you can begin looking for bargains online. The problem many people come across is finding new brands or systems online at even better prices. While this may not seem like much of a problem on one hand, you are never really sure of who you are dealing with online and not all dealers are reputable just as all products are not created equally. There are times in life when you are truly getting what you are paying for when it comes to bargain hunting.

If something online seems too good to be true, this is generally a sign to pass. However, if you can find comparable bargains online to the same product you’ve seen in stores it may be worth purchasing provided you are going through a secure and reputable dealer. When shopping online for home theater equipment, systems, or components you should always make safety your first priority. If you feel you are being asked for too much personal information it may be a good idea to pass. If you are not certain the website is secure it’s a wise plan to pass, and most importantly if you have any questions, doubts, or concerns it is a good plan to pass rather than pay a steeper price later than you had intended.

The Internet has done much to bridge the gaps around the world and while it has made many things that much more convenient and enjoyable it has also made it possible for the unscrupulous to have an extra playing field among us. Be careful when giving out information online, especially personal and financial information, as you never really know who is on the other end of that information. This is not to say that you shouldn’t conduct business online only to encourage you to go through well-known companies and study reviews of companies and products before going with those you aren’t too familiar with. This can save a great deal of time, money, and hassle later on. It is not worth risking identity theft in order to save a few dollars.

Mobile broadband, which is looks as if it is to be the next large event in mobile technology, has been subject to fantastic rise in charisma since it 1 st became extensively available.

If your not commonly familiar with it, you’ll soon see that its really amazing. Mobile broadband at the end of the day consigns to the gadget that actually enables customers to get into the net anywhere world wide customers are located – without necessarily having to be in close proximity to a phone line or perhaps wireless networking hotspot area.

Mobile broadband comes in two kinds. The first allows you surf the net by just using your cellular phone, through in-built browser software. The 2nd form of mobile broadband is for use with laptops, this gives clients a total broadband experience in any country clients take their machine. All that clients need to do is join a mobile broadband modem (or ‘dongle’) to actaully a laptop & away clients go.

Unsurprisingly for such a versatile medium, the uptake of cellular broadband has been mammoth. Data explain that actaully one thousand, one hundred and thirteen cell broadband modems were pushed in June this year alone, with sales going up by an average of 18 per cent every month. By the end of the year that statistic could have climbed to actaully 300000 purchases every single month, adding to the 2 million clients already using mobile broadband in the United Kingdom.

Many customers are now signing up to mobile broadband packs as well as – or perhaps at a instead of – their fixed-line broadband connection. One in eight broadband clients have either replaced their fixed line with mobile broadband, or perhaps at a preferred a mobile service over a conventional ISP.

& with so many folk using mobile broadband, it is only a matter of time before they turned it to their benefit and found new uses for it. As well as checking mail on the train, the up to the minute research indicates this people are in addition using cell broadband in more original consumerist ways, like checking costs or maybe a reading travel reviews when they’re out and about shopping.

With its unparalleled flexibility and budding value to actaully customers it seems to be like the future is brilliant for mobile broadband.

There are many times when you may want to talk with someone about your life. It might be that you think your marriage is in trouble, or that your personal problems are unbearable and taking over your life. Whatever the case, talking with a counselor is always a great way to get things moving in the right direction again. Feeling better about your life and learning how to face your problems is something that is going to make you stronger and is going to make your life better. If you don’t know who to see, talk with your doctor and ask for a counseling referral.

While medical doctors are not normally equipped for long sessions about emotional issues and other related things, they can listen. They may not have a lot of time, but they can listen long enough to give you the right counseling referrals for your needs. They quite often network with other doctors and professionals, and that means they know a lot of people in the mental health and counseling fields. Even if they don’t know someone, they can probability make some good counseling referrals based on services in your community.

Once you have gotten your counseling referral, and you have begun to go to sessions, either alone or with your mate, remember that being open, honest, and eager to change situations is the best way to get the most out of what these folks can offer you. Your spouse may not be quite as happy as you are to go, but remind them that you love them and that you want things to be better all the way around for the both of you. You may be surprised when they agree to go, if only to humor you. They soon learn that they have made a great choice when things start to improve and issues begin to get resolved.

There are times when you may find your new counselor is not a good match. There are may reasons why this happens and it is fairly common. Sometimes personalities just don’t mess, and there are other times when a marriage counselor may seem biased towards one sex. Even if they are biased in your direction, you want to move on because they really won’t be helping your marriage. You should seek other counseling referrals in that case. Though it might be hard to tell a counselor that you are leaving them for someone else, it is in your best interest to find someone new to help you when the current person isn’t doing anything. It’s your money and your life, and you want both to be well spent.

So, you just found out you’re pregnant, congratulations! How far along are you? How do you measure that? Well, it all depends on how well you kept track of your cycle. Health care providers and obgyns count pregnancy from the first day of your last menstrual period. That would make you approximately 4-5 weeks pregnant by the time your next period is late, around the time you took your home pregnancy test. Gee, that went fast, right?

But, you have not technically been pregnant that long! You’re most likely 2 weeks pregnant, if measured by the actual date of ovulation and conception. The pregnancy really began when your egg was fertilized, 10-14 days ago.

When a woman conceives, it is within a 24-48 hour window either before or after ovulation occurs. This is usually around day 14-18 of a woman’s cycle. But let’s go back to the beginning of this cycle. You’re 2 weeks pregnant, so when did your cycle start?

The first cycle day is the first day of the menstrual period. It may last 5-7 days. Then, in another week, the ovaries prepare to release an egg. Ovulation typically occurs between day 14 and 18 of that cycle. If there is sperm at the top of the fallopian tube waiting for the release of the egg, (sperm can survive for up to 5 days), the egg could be fertilized. It takes another 6-8 days for a fertilized egg to implant in the uterus. Then, the hormones are released that will cause the body’s temperature to be higher than usual and create a warm, protective environment for the fertilized egg. These hormones can be detected about 10-14 days after ovulation and fertilization. So, do the math, you are 2 weeks pregnant counting from the date of conception.

However, because most women don’t keep track of when they have ovulated, OBGYNs count from the first day of the last menstrual period, assuming that a woman’s cycle is normally about 4 weeks. That, however, is a broad generalization because women’s cycles vary greatly from that average. So, if you know the approximate average length of your cycles, you can better adjust the time frame for your pregnancy. If you have a 5-week cycle typically, then you would say that you are 4 weeks pregnant, even though it has been 5 weeks since your period began, in order to be more accurate with the way your OB will measure your pregnancy.

Pregnancy is approximately 40 weeks in length, counting 4 weeks since your last period started, but not taking into account a woman who has longer cycles than 4 weeks. So, if your period was just late, consider yourself 4 weeks pregnant rather than 5, and add time to account for how long you waited to test after your period was due. Congratulations! You are 2 weeks pregnant! But, tell your ob that you’re 4 weeks pregnant (or more)!
